Vodka rules in Covent Garden

.

If you like vodka, you’ll love the Vestal Vodka Vaults. Located under The Forge in Covent Garden the pop-up affair promises theatrical interiors, cosy corners and a strictly ‘no-gin’ cocktail menu…
Instead you can sip on Vestal Vodka, an uber premium small batch vodka crafted by father and son team William and John Borrell. It’s Polish so has the full-bodied, creamy textured characteristics one associates with potato vodkas but there’s has an extra ‘oomphf’ in VV as the potatoes are specifically sourced by ‘terroir’ to impact on the aroma and taste.
Try it for yourself in the list of cocktails on offer at the six-week event, including the Vestal Espresso Flip (Vestal Kaszebe Rye, egg white, brazil nut syrup and espresso); Hot Sexy Punch (Vestal Kaszebe, pineapple juice, cinnamon syrup and Cherry Heerring); Cocchi Horror Picture Show (Vestal Amber, Cocchi, tequila, orange bitters, lemon juice and apricot liqueur), and Vestal Mezcal (Vestal Podlasie, Kamm and Sons, Peychaud Bitters and Vestal Amber).

Open 12pm-12am, 12th November-22nd December 2012

The Forge, 14 Garrick Street, London WC2E 9BJ. T: 020 7379 1432. theforgerestaurant.co.uk.
