Guilty pleasures alert: egg nog, Bailey’s – put them both together, add some eggs, spices and boom! The ultimate calorific Christmas treat. Santa would definitely approve.

300ml Baileys Irish Cream
300ml full fat milk
4 egg yolks
150ml maple syrup
1 tsp cinnamon powder
1 tsp allspice powder

Method:

Combine the milk and a few scoops of ice in a blender and mix until smooth. Mix the egg yolks, cinnamon, allspice and maple syrup together in a separate bowl. Place all ingredients in the blender and blend again. Pour into a glass and dust with grated nutmeg and garnish with a chocolate swizzle stick.
